What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage infrastructure and hardware-related projects across physical and virtual environments
- Collaborate with development teams to create capacity models and forecasts based on business growth and usage trends
- Maintain and assess hardware inventory, identifying opportunities for reuse and lifecycle extension
- Develop strategies for hardware redeployment, upgrades, and refurbishment
- Communicate technical requirements and capacity planning strategies to stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in capacity planning, infrastructure management, or IT resource forecasting
- Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and data center operations
- Experience designing and managing physical labs and environments, including port mapping
- Proficiency in budgeting, procurement, and financial planning in IT environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Experience with data analysis tools and capacity planning software
- Understanding of ITSM frameworks such as ITIL
- Exposure to automation and monitoring tools for capacity planning
