      Job Description:

      Trillium Health Partners (THP) is seeking a Project Manager to join the Health Hubs team.

      The Health Hubs team supports the hospital’s strategic plan by leading the development of Health Hubs, or campuses of care, that purposefully co-locate, connect and integrate healthcare services. By connecting the hospital with long-term care and community services, this creates the opportunity to focus on connected care models that are designed to target the right services to the population needs. This then build system capacity, improves system flow, alleviates hospital pressures and supports better access to care overall.

      Project Managers within the Health Hubs team will work collaboratively with teams across the organization to support transformative initiatives, processes and policy development designed to achieve the goals identified in the hospital’s strategic plan including Trillium HealthWorks and Health Hubs projects. The ideal candidate exemplifies a commitment to THP’s mission and values and demonstrates dedication to a person-centered approach to delivering quality hospital care.

      Here’s what you will get to do:

      • Lead the evaluation and execution of corporate development initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic initiatives and partnerships to advance innovate models of integrated and seamless care across the health system;
      • Lead business case development, financial analysis, due diligence, transaction negotiations and partnership management to advance campuses of care;
      • Provide project management leadership to a multi-disciplinary team to ensure successful delivery of all phases of the project life cycle to support the creation of campuses of care;
      • Monitor and report on progress, problems and solutions of the project to all stakeholders and escalate issues as appropriate;
      • Provide strategic oversight and guidance to support project alignment, corporate decision-making within THP’s governance structure and complex deliverables;
      • Lead the development of materials, such as reports, briefing notes, requests for proposals, presentations, data analyses and communications for the project(s) for all levels of the organization’s partners, government and external partners, and the Board of Directors;
      • Lead the development and dissemination of project control documents, including status reports, risk / issue analyses and reports and project plans;
      • Lead and / or support working groups and committees that are integral to the success of the project(s);
      • Engage and communicate with stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure changing resource and project requirements are met and understood;
      • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including regional, provincial and/or private sector partners to ensure the successful completion of project deliverables.
      • Support project research, literature reviews and data / information gathering to enhance subject-matter knowledge relevant to the project; and
      • Lead or support other projects, as required, within the Strategic Projects Portfolio, which may include initiatives related to advancing THP’s Strategic Plan, Major Projects, virtual care as well as projects THP may engage on with external partners.

      Qualifications:

      • Ideal candidates must have an undergraduate degree; business, life sciences, or related discipline preferred.
      • Masters degree in public health/healthcare administration, business administration, or equivalent experience considered an asset.
      • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management in healthcare environments such as hospitals, long-term care, government or private sector required
      • Strong understanding of the hospital’s strategic plan
      • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical-thinking abilities
      • Adaptability, interpersonal and collaboration skills are essential for this role
      • Superior analytical and problem solving abilities
      • Demonstrated effectiveness in managing ambiguity
      • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
      • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to multi task and prioritize tasks effectively.
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills.
      • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft suite skills is essential.
      • Satisfactory performance and attendance required.
      • This position is a hybrid work model with a mix of work from home and on-site work (and/or work at off-site partner locations).
