What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define project/program requirements and manage cost, schedule, and performance
- Serve as the primary contact for client interactions and maintain client relationships
- Assist in opportunity capture and proposal preparation
- Interpret contract information and ensure compliance with contract terms
- Actively manage risk and ensure compliance with safety standards

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/life sciences or relevant field with 3+ years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 1+ year of experience
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external counterparts
- Experience with government accounting practices and project management tools
- Willingness to travel locally between Battelle sites
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior government contract experience
- PMP Certification highly preferred
- Master's degree in relevant field
- Experience securing and managing government contracts/grants
