      Deliver the project to customer in quality, in time and within budget.

      Your tasks

      • Interface with customer and his consultant (m/f/d), his appointed contractors (m/f/d), main subcontractors (m/f/d) and suppliers.
      • Lead the project execution team from various functions as well as major consortium members (m/f/d), subcontractors (m/f/d) and installation contractor (m/f/d). Ensure all along the contractual requirements are met and Voith processes are followed.
      • Oversee and verify the project accounting, costing and billing. Lead cash collection.
      • Approve sourcing strategy and ensure it is followed.
      • Look ahead planning and forecasting (project schedule) from project start until project closure.
      • Monitor physical progress analyze deviations and implement counter measures. Events may be triggered internally or externally.
      • Periodic evaluation of risks and chances and accordingly update cost to complete.
      • Lead claim management including identification of circumstances, development of strategy and negotiation with customer and suppliers. Follow the contract claim procedure.
      • Regular internal reporting and project reviews with Management. Monitor the functional KPIs. Regular project escalation (follow escalation and communication rules). Periodic external reporting to customer.


      Your profile

      • Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or a comparable field of study with international professional experience in handling projects with complex contractual structures - especially in plant construction.
      • Proficient in the use of SAP, MS Office and other project management tools.
      • Capacity to manage high stress situations, leaderships skills and the attention to details.
      • Business fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken with excellent communication skills. German language skills are an advantage.
      • Willingness to travel worldwide on a regular basis (approx. 30 %) and to spend several weeks on construction sites rounds off your profile.
