What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the implementation of communication system projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget
- Utilize project management tools to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions
- Maintain direct communication with customers and relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead project teams, coordinating work activities and managing resources effectively
- Ensure proper management of project constraints including quality, cost, and time
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of project/program management or similar business experience, or 4+ years of relevant experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
- Experience with public safety communications systems or related fields
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PM Masters Certificate or PMP certification preferred
- Understanding of two-way radio/cellular infrastructure communications products and services
- Familiarity with local public safety customers such as police, fire, and emergency medical services
- Experience recruiting and managing project staff
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work effectively with minimal guidance
