What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage overall activities of the Lupus Accelerating Breakthroughs Consortium (Lupus ABC)
- Develop and implement a project tracking system for Lupus ABC
- Oversee compliance documents and manage annual COI forms
- Draft correspondence, newsletters, and project updates for various stakeholders
- Provide project management support for the Lupus Industry Council (LIC)
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred, ideally in a health science area
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple partners
- Previous experience with administration of scientific research projects is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in public-private partnerships or collaborations in research
- Familiarity with lupus or related health issues
- Previous work with non-profit organizations in a research capacity
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to travel for meetings related to Lupus ABC, LIC, and LRA activities
