- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals; use data collection for analysis and revised action plans.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Act as the main point of contact for all project-related matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Regularly communicating project status to stakeholders, including issues, risks, and mitigation strategies. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress and outcomes
- Organize and facilitate effective and collegial stakeholder meetings, keeping detailed notes, troubleshooting, and communicating action items for follow-up.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and sponsor expectations.
- Implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs.
- Continuously improve the efficiency and clarity of product development and rollout processes, by engaging, communicating and problem solving with stakeholders across business units, clarifying the scope, timeframe and resources for projects and implementing best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software/tools ( e.g., Jira, Gantt Chart Tool).
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience in creating and managing project budgets.
- Highly tech-savvy with an ability to identify and quickly master new software systems and automations
- Ability to demonstrate creative problem-solving, thoughtful product scoping, and flexibility in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication, time management, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of facilitating cross-departmental issue identification, problem-solving, and resolution.
- Highly customer-centric, service-oriented with the ability to understand, execute and meet customer's expectations.
- Proven ability to effectively and often simultaneously communicate at operational, technical, and strategic levels to internal and external customers, including Senior and Executive Leaders.
- Ability to travel for team meetings bi-annually.
- Passion for advancing equity in education and commitment to Scholarship America's mission.
- Bachelor's Degree - or equivalent experience.
- PMP Certification.

We are adding a Project Manager to our Product/IT team who will work across the organization in service to Scholarship America teams and staff, in support of the organization's mission, vision, and strategies. This role is essential for ensuring that prioritized projects are completed seamlessly and on time, as defined by the organization product roadmap, ways of working, and strategic initiatives. The Project Manager will work closely with team members, vendors, and clients to drive projects to successful completion, on time, on budget, and in alignment to organizational goals.

Full Pay range: Exempt ($64,400 - $80,500 - $96,600)
This is the pay range for our staff in this position, from entry to fully independent and proficient in the role utilizing our propriety systems and processes. The candidate selected for this position will be offered a wage applicable to their background and skill set as aligned to our business.
