What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the design process from the project basis of design stage through the issuance of construction drawings
- Oversee design, permitting, construction, and community engagement for renewable energy projects
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to confirm deliverables and exceed client satisfaction
- Identify project opportunities and facilitate go/no-go decisions, including proposal writing and contract negotiations
- Take ownership of project financials, staffing, legal coordination, and risk management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the renewables sector or equivalent education and experience
- Experience in project management directly related to renewable engineering projects
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget
- Strong understanding of engineering design, interconnection, electrical equipment, and construction processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Professional Engineering Licensure (PE)
- Over 6 years of relevant experience in project management and engineering of renewables
- Experience managing projects in collaborative model environments, such as Navisworks
