What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the implementation of the Epic May 2024 Upgrade Project for a health plan
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation
- Manage resources effectively across project priorities to ensure timely delivery
- Evaluate project progress regularly and prioritize issues and risks
- Communicate effectively with business leaders to support informed decision-making
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience leading complex, large-scale Epic implementation and/or upgrade projects
- Project management experience in a health plan or managed care setting
- Familiarity with Epic resources and tools such as Orion, Galaxy, Nova, and Sherlock
- Previous Epic implementation experience for a health plan, preferably with Epic Tapestry
- Prerequisite training with Epic and completion of the Overview of Implementation course
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in the Epic Implementation Director role as defined by Epic
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with a proven track record of timely delivery
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Project, Visio, and SharePoint
