- 1+ years of experience in data analysis, including SQL queries and Power BI dashboards
- Proficiency in SharePoint site creation and maintenance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Certified Project Manager (PMI, PMP, or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience using SAM tools, preferably ServiceNow
- Familiarity with ISO 19770 standards and SAM best practices
- Experience in IT service operations
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Consultative and leadership skills
- Experience in high-profile, global roles
- Analytical mindset with a track record of process improvements
- Skilled in negotiation and stakeholder management
Job Title: Project Manager - Software Asset Management
Location: 100% Remote
Client: Enterprise Technology Company (Redmond, WA)
Rate: $51-$54/ hour
This role is part of our client's Software Licensing Services team, responsible for managing third-party software assets across the enterprise. The Software Asset Management (SAM) Project Manager will lead licensing consolidation projects, optimize software usage, and reduce risk and cost through strategic operations. This is a high-visibility role with executive exposure and opportunities to work with AI and modern SAM models.
**The ideal candidate will have prior experience in IT service operations (highly preferred), excellent written communication skills with fluency in English, and a solid understanding of technical methods used in software license management. You should have hands-on experience deploying tools like ServiceNow for license allocation and reconciliation, experience collaborating with business groups, and domain knowledge to provide informed recommendations. You must be able to work independently, require minimal guidance, and quickly learn and apply structured processes.
