What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the planning and implementation of solar projects from initiation to closure
- Ensure that all project goals are met while adhering to defined budgets and timelines
- Manage the status of the project, assess risks, and oversee deliverables through regular meetings and reporting
- Coordinate efforts between internal teams and external partners, including contractors and suppliers
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules and documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven track record in project management within the solar or renewable energy sector
- Comprehensive understanding of solar photovoltaic systems and best practices for installation
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Familiarity with regulations applicable to solar energy projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Independent Power Producers (IPP) and Third-Party Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC)
- Project Management certification or NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certification (PVIPC)
- Familiarity and experience using project management software such as Procore
- Background in engineering related to solar electrical equipment
- Field experience in solar projects
