What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive day-to-day construction operations and oversee project planning
- Manage costs and schedules while ensuring effective communication with owners and subcontractors
- Review and understand legal documents such as contracts and purchase orders
- Provide strong leadership throughout the entire construction process
- Conduct job site visitations to ensure compliance with project documents and quality standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year college degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive project management experience in multifamily construction
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, cost accounting, and project estimating
- Exceptional leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Initiative and ability to mentor others within the team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Over 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Proven track record of managing multifamily construction projects successfully
- Ability to develop relationships with local authorities to assist in project progress
- Experience with cost accounting and financial projection updates
- Strong communication skills for effective project meeting management
