- Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the task order, maintaining consistent availability to the COR during standard business hours and ensuring prompt responses to all inquiries.
- Oversee all facets of contract execution, including supervision of Team Leads, personnel training, work planning and scheduling, report preparation, records management, and implementation of quality assurance protocols.
- Facilitate biweekly status meetings with the COR and prepare detailed monthly status reports outlining technical progress, activities performed, travel, challenges encountered, and recommended actions.
- Provide strategic oversight and day-to-day management of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring alignment with contract objectives and operational requirements.
- Direct daily operations to ensure efficient task execution, timely submission of deliverables, and full compliance with USCG regulations and contract specifications.
- Partner closely with the COR to align staffing and recruitment strategies with programmatic needs while maintaining consistency in hiring practices and onboarding procedures.
- Lead staff development through proactive coaching, mentoring, and performance management, fostering a high-performing, mission-oriented team culture.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules, resource allocations, and workflow tracking using contractually approved project management systems.
- Review invoices, monitor payment activity, and oversee financial transactions to maintain accuracy, accountability, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Maintain accurate, forward-looking documentation to support multi-year budget planning and ensure ongoing programmatic alignment with contract requirements.
- Support broader program objectives through contributions to cost management, schedule forecasting, risk analysis, contract performance tracking, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Ensure all activities comply with federal regulations, including reporting obligations, document management, and waiver submission processes.
- Promote awareness of professional conduct standards among staff and take appropriate corrective actions in accordance with USCG and contract guidelines.
- Five (5) years of experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on government contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation abilities.

Position Description
The Project Manager (PM) will lead all contractor activities for the U.S. Coast Guard Directorate of International Affairs and Foreign Policy Advisor (DCO-I) support contract. This includes managing service delivery across administrative, technical, training, and financial domains while ensuring compliance with contract terms. The PM serves as the central liaison to the Government, providing comprehensive oversight, fostering staff development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, mission-aligned support.
