What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, organize, and motivate diverse project teams throughout all phases of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid projects
- Coordinate vendors, consultants, and client IT and business staff in the execution of IT projects and related procurements
- Oversee the development of proposals, statements of work, requirements, and RFP responses
- Facilitate multi-disciplinary teams in the development of plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Manage working relationships with key stakeholders and track project progress
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large projects
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluency in Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office
- PMP Certification
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management principles and practices
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with VITA's Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) system and ECOS process
- Experience with Project Management Office methodologies and practices
- Experience with Commonwealth IT procurement processes
