      The Project Manager or Business Analyst is responsible for gaining an understanding of the business change needs in relation to the acquisition or divestment project. He/she will assess and capture the IT impact, documenting the requirements of the changes, and communicate the requirements to relevant parties (IT / Business).

      Typical Accountability

      • Perform due diligence analysis against the applications / businesses impacted by acquisition or divestment project
      • Understanding multiple IT perspectives (e.g. IT Landscape, Spend, Org, Security, Projects, Strategy), and identify material risks, opportunities, and mitigation options.
      • Strategic fit of IT landscape (e.g. What target growth means for IT Landscape change).
      • Early insights from the acquiring business in how the target opportunity will achieve its Return on Investment.
      • Coordinate and deliver the IT components related to the applications in the workstream landscape.
      • Facilitate IT triangle workshops with Site business stakeholders and the ERP solution teams.
      • Propose designs / solutions that contribute to project delivery performance.
      • Variety of interactions (e.g. Google, Virtual Data Rooms, Site Visits, Management sessions, and 121s).
      • Facilitate conversations with the acquiring business IT Advisors, IT Segment Architect, and Functional Leads.
      • Translating Due-Diligence findings into a Day 1, Day 90 and 1st Year Implementation plan.
      • Conduct stakeholder engagement with Delivery Vertical and Vendors.
      • Negotiation and approval of Proposal for Work quotations.
      • Contribute to the project issues and risks register.
      • Contribute to the project lessons learnt review.
      • Facilitate / co-ordinate the cutover planning workshops for the workstream.
      • Develop hyper care approach and facilitate associated workshops / regular calls.
      • Create presentations to a target audience with varied levels of technical capabilities / awareness.

      Experience

      • Acquisition and Divestment IT experience. Minimum 2-3 transactions.
      • Minimum 5-7 years of Oil and Gas experience. Significant % in IT transformation or program management.
      • Renewable Energy / Trading IT experience.
      • Broad knowledge of the IT landscape across Renewable Energy & Trading, and Downstream business types (i.e. Retail, Aviation, Manufacturing, etc.).
      • Previous role in complex / large delivery projects; preferably within IT portfolio.
