General Overview
The Primary Care Quality Project Specialist is an important part of the MGB Ambulatory Quality and Safety Team providing support on a variety of different quality and safety initiatives aimed at improving the overall care, experience, and outcomes that a patient receives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
● Supports the broader Ambulatory Quality and Safety portfolio to advance key system strategies including efforts aligned with For Every Patient and United Against Racism.

● Develops broad working knowledge of ambulatory quality and safety efforts including primary care quality measurement with a focus on chronic and preventive care, health equity in primary care and substance use disorder, behavioral health and ambulatory safety net strategies.
● Assists with key deliverables aligned to the Ambulatory Quality and Safety portfolio of work, including but not limited to, project specific tasks, the preparation of meeting agendas and presentations/delivery and facilitation, documenting key decisions and collaborating with team.

● Other duties as assignedQualifications
● Bachelor’s degree required, and 1-3 years experience required
● Experience related to internal quality and safety metrics measurement / monitoring preferred
● Experience in a field related to Quality and Safety preferred
● Experience with SQL and Excel preferredSkills, Abilities and Competencies
● Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization
● Requires minimal direction from leadership, demonstrated ability to work independently and possesses the ability to learn quickly
● Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds and levels within and external to the organization
● Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
● Ability to effectively conduct meetings, both formal and informal● Possible local travel to Mass General Brigham sites
