We are seeking an ambitious and energetic self-starter to join our dynamic Customer Service team as a Projects Team Leader. Under supervision of the Projects Supervisor, the Projects Team Leader is responsible for assisting our Project Manager in organizing our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project details, schedules, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. To be successful as a Project Team Leader, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines and manage several ongoing and short-term projects to completion.

      REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Interacts with Sales, Field Operations, and Trainers to define scope of new projects. Develops and maintains scope of work details, identification of variances from original scope.
      • Creates new projects in our ICEE system, including customer accounts, technician questionnaires, and special instructions.
      • Communicates new project details to the operations group (deadlines, scope of work, special instructions, etc.) and provides direction throughout course of the project.
      • Documents and follows-up on important actions and decisions pertaining to Customer procedures.
      • Serves as point of contact for project escalations, both from Customers and from operations.
      • Leads a team of 2-4 Project Coordinators, ensuring proper opening, scheduling, monitoring, and closing of all project calls assigned to the team. Includes training and coaching Coordinators when necessary.
      • Ensures projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
      • Assesses project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
      • Provides weekly reporting to operations and the Project Supervisor
      • Conducts analysis at completion of a project to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.
      • Performs other job duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

      COMPETENCIES:

      To perform this job successfully, the Projects Team Leader must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able stay on task. They must have a proven ability to research, and problem solve in a timely manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

      • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to V and X-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
      • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
      • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
      • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
      • Ability to work within tight deadlines and multitask.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • 2+ years’ experience in related field (service industry or similar highly preferred)
      • Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
      • Proficiency with MS Office suite
      • Leadership or Management experience strongly preferred.

      LOCATION: The ICEE Company Support Center – La Vergne, TN.
