  Atlas Copco Energas develops and manufactures tailormade integrally geared and direct-driven turbocompressors and expansionturbines. The area of responsibility of the Application Engineering Team includes the complete bidding process from first Customer inquiry to hand over to order execution.

  In order to set up Energas Application Engineering for the increasing market demand and to further extend the Energas orders received in traditional and new market segments, we are looking for a highly motivated Application Engineering (m/w/d).

  Your Role
  

  • Evaluation of the full customer inquiries and specifications
  • Selection of the equipment including thermodynamic calculation of the compressor units
  • Assure offering competitive compressor concepts in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare cost calculation based on Leegoo Builder costs and supplier quotations
  • Prepare inquiry documents for the relevant big ticket items in line with the project requirements
  • Coordinate and prepare technical and commercial quotations for complete compressor packages in cooperation with all relevant internal and external interfaces
  • Participate in technical and commercial negotiations with customers together with sales team and contract management
  • Hand-over of incoming order to execution team and remain at their disposal for further clarification
  • Reporting of project status to Team Leader Application Engineering and Application Manager on regular basis
  • Strive to actively improve Application process

  
  To succeed, you will need

  • University degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent through experience with a solid technical and business background
  • Interested in turbomachinery and eager to extend your knowledge in compressor and expander technology
  • Excellent ability to communicate in English and German
  • Knowledge of relevant international standards, e.g. API617 / 672 is an asset
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP, CRM & PLM systems is an asset
  • Eager to understand customers needs in different market segments
  • High level of motivation, personal resilience and ability to prioritize
  • Strive to continuously learn and develop yourself
  • Willing to travel at country and abroad as required (moderately)
