      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct ongoing prospect research to identify funding opportunities and build a robust institutional funding pipeline
      - Develop and implement tailored donor engagement strategies to establish relationships with foundations and donor governments
      - Support grant proposal development and project management, including writing and managing all aspects of proposals
      - Collaborate with internal teams on donor engagement strategies, creating meeting materials and crafting speaking points
      - Maintain and update donor and prospect records in the CRM, ensuring data accuracy and relevance

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - A bachelor's degree in a related field
      - Minimum of 4+ years of experience in prospect research and proposal writing, ideally in an energy and climate or international nonprofit setting
      - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
      - Excellent written communication skills and the ability to create compelling fundraising materials
      - Proficiency with online research tools and CRM software (Salesforce)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated success in securing major gifts through grant writing and foundation engagement
      - Experience working with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems
      - High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
