What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate cost-effective and complex contracts to enhance provider networks while meeting financial goals
- Develop and present business cases to Senior Management to support reimbursement and contracting initiatives
- Educate providers about value propositions and collaborate on developing value-based arrangements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee the implementation of negotiated contract terms
- Manage provider credentialing processes and maintain accurate provider data

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience (4 additional years)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, business, or a related field; 1 year in contracting or provider relations
- Deep understanding of reimbursement methodologies used in healthcare contracting
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships
- Proficient in financial analysis and modeling with superior PC skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Business or Health Care Administration
- Experience in provider recruitment and/or relations
- Familiarity with electronic contract management systems
- Knowledge of health care financial matters and third-party payment methodologies
- Effective time and project management skills
