  This position is accountable for all functions of the provider contracting process to assure that providers meet the health plan's requirements for participation as a contracted participant.

  • Processes provider applications and agreements.

  • May assist in the implementation of procedures and activities related to the data management and ongoing maintenance of network provider records.

  • Ensures adherence to set standards through compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Maintains provider profiling system and communicates with providers by phone and mail regarding their applications and demographic/contracting information.

  Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of one year healthcare related experience

  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office products.

  • Strong keyboard and data entry skills

  • Some credentialing experience a plus
