What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into the provider database, adhering to policies and procedures
- Investigate and resolve provider contract pending claims and apply claims policies
- Monitor and manage communication with contracted provider offices and internal customers
- Maintain and update provider database based on demographic changes and validation
- Complete provider database projects resulting from regulatory changes or contracting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 1 year of experience with data entry, data management, or credentialing
- Familiarity with relational databases and understanding of managed care concepts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and customer service
- Ability to learn and navigate claims processing technologies, such as QNXT
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2 years of experience working in healthcare or insurance
- Experience with managed care and project participation
