What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead provider contracting services and engagement initiatives for strategic health partners
- Negotiate and re-negotiate contracts, reimbursement rates, and terms with providers
- Analyze financial data to support network performance and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with Population Health Analytics teams to enhance provider engagement strategies
- Mentor and train new hires while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience, including three (3) years in provider relations and/or contracting
- Managed care experience is required
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field
- NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) experience
- Six Sigma or Project Management certification
- Experience in training or teaching roles
- Knowledge of Provider Network Management Processes & Services
