Job Description
- Req#: 1308
- Researches and controls incoming applications and correspondence to ensure work is properly categorized.
- Enters data into internal document management and workflow systems.
- Provides quality check on the provider enrollment data and enters application information into claims processing systems.
- Manages inbound/outbound online FAX queues to and from providers.
- Quality assurance check claims processing system enrollment data.
- Creates and mails notification letters.
- Completes application returns and/or application acknowledgement process.
- Supports other enrollment functions such as status calls, basic data entry, special mailings, etc.
- Reviews, researches, and processes provider enrollment applications abiding to contract regulations, internal policies, and guidelines.
- Coaches providers through the enrollment process and provides inbound phone support.
- Initiates requests for information to complete the online enrollment process.
- Verifies credentialing information and completes fraud detection and prevention.
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year Provider Enrollment Experience under a Medicare Administrative Contractors (MAC
- 6 months' clerical experience
- Basic computer skills, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Experience with computer programs such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook & SharePoint
- Advanced computer keyboarding and data entry skills
- Knowledge of provider enrollment workload definitions, enrollment terminology, enrollment forms, and basic regulations, policies, and procedures
- Pecos and MCS
- Skilled at multitasking across multiple software platforms.
- Responsible for providing your own 19" monitor or larger with VGA or HDMI port with corresponding cable, USB wired mouse, ethernet cable, and optional USB wired keyboard
- Reliable hardwired internet is a must with at least 25mbps download|10mbps upload speeds
- Please note that all Internet Speed Tests are monitored and will be verified. They must be taken on a laptop or desktop computer and plugged directly into your router.
- Speed Tests can not be completed on a mobile device. We recommend completing your application on a computer to make it easier to submit your results simultaneously.
