What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Establish and maintain relationships with injured workers, adjusters, clients, attorneys, and providers
- Communicate with providers and network customers to facilitate treatment and prepare necessary documentation
- Track and monitor case loads to ensure timely closure of medical treatment requests
- Manage the credentialing process and maintain an accurate provider database
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Provider Network Team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; AA in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of general credentialing procedures
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Experience in workers’ compensation is strongly recommended
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a high comfort level using computers and software (MS Word, MS Excel, Email, and Internet)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in provider relations
- Familiarity with medical credentialing processes
- Ability to work in a home office environment that is HIPAA compliant
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
