Job Description
- Req#: 10299
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Psychology or related child development field from an accredited university
- Clinical experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Cerebral Palsy (CP) is an asset.
- Knowledge of child psychosocial development and psychopathology.
- Competence in the administration and scoring of standardized tests including the Wechsler series of intellectual tests and various tests of language, academics, memory, and executive functioning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to utilize critical thinking, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with members of the clinical team
- Ability to be flexible and respond to continually changing demands
- Ability to be flexible and respond to continually changing demands
- Experience conducting virtual assessments is an asset
- Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Close attention to detail

Job Description
Psychometrist – Centre for Behaviour Health Sciences
Temporary Full Time (Approximately 12 months)
The Children’s Treatment Network (CTN) supports children with disabilities and developmental needs in York Region and Simcoe County with funding from the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. As a network partner, Mackenzie Health hosts the CTN Psychological Services clinic which provides neuropsychological assessment and consultation to children and adolescents between the ages of 4 and 21 years old. Under the direction and supervision of our Registered Psychologists, the Psychometrist will be responsible for the administration and scoring of psychological measures for clients who are seen in the clinic
