      Provide direct rehabilitation services in a Clubhouse model to adults who are experiencing serious and persistent mental disorders, with an emphasis on promoting confidence and opportunity for meaningful work in a supportive environment. Develop and manage transitional employment placements and supportive employment placements, including member selection, training and support, and maintaining good relationships with employers.

      The Clubhouse model of psychosocial rehabilitation is a community mental health service model that helps people with a history of serious mental illness rejoin society and maintain their place in it; it builds on people's strengths and provides mutual support, along with professional staff support, for people to receive prevocational work training, educational opportunities, and social support.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Coordinate with client’s primary provider (PCP) to develop rehabilitation goals and monitor progress.

      • Create rehabilitation plans for all members and crisis plans as appropriate.

      • Attend Clubhouse staff meeting and other meetings as assigned.

      • Transport members in FBH vehicle to and from Transitional Employment work sites as needed. Engage members in day-to-day operation of the work units using creative skills to ensure members have the opportunity work at a meaningful job appropriate to each member’s current functioning level.

      • Assist the members of the Clubhouse to take steadily increasing amounts of responsibility for the operation of the Clubhouse and all its functions.

      • Provide community support services, participate in the work-ordered day, assist with Transitional Employment and other components of a successful clubhouse as defined by Clubhouse International’s The International Standards for Clubhouse Programs.

      • Work on weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary to develop and enhance Clubhouse programming.

      • Comply with all WAC requirements and FBH Policies and Procedures.

      • Represent the agency and its services to the community in a positive and professional manner. Perform FBH charting requirements in compliance with agency policy, correspondence, HRIS and other paperwork in a complete and timely manner.

      QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

      REQUIRED:

      • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences.

      • Must apply for Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration within 30 days of hire.

      • Must have reliable transportation, insurance and an active drivers’ license and be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of work.

      PREFERRED:

      • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences and two years’ experience working with individuals with psychiatric impairment.

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

      • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft office including Outlook, Word and Excel

      • Must have reliable transportation, insurance and an active drivers’ license and be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of work.

      • Work is performed in an office setting and in the community at large.

      • Requires daily use of computers, ability to escort members on outings to various indoor and outdoor community locations.

      • May be required to lift 10 - 20 pounds.

      • Blood-borne Pathogen Category III - No predictable exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

      PAY RANGE (Hourly/ Non-Exempt): $25.89-$31.53

      All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the starting pay for this position is $25.89 per hour.

      Benefits described above are based on employees who hold .5 FTE positions or greater and/or some benefits vary based on FTE. PRN positions are not benefit eligible or eligible for a sign on bonus.
