      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in implementing communication programs and partnerships to enhance the District's outreach efforts
      - Write and edit various content types, including press releases, social media posts, and marketing materials
      - Support the planning and execution of public events and promotional activities
      - Engage with stakeholders and build positive relationships within the community
      - Prepare and deliver presentations to various audiences to convey key messages

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in public relations, communications, marketing, or a closely related field
      - Minimum of four years of experience in public affairs, communications, or community outreach
      - Knowledge of communication principles, event planning, and stakeholder engagement
      - Proficiency in office software including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools
      - Valid California driver's license and automobile insurance

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Public sector experience is preferred
      - Familiarity with graphic design and social media management
      - Experience in writing and editing for diverse audiences
