What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement internal and external communication plans
- Provide public information through written, audio, and visual collateral
- Create educational materials and data visualizations
- Assist in outreach and other communication efforts

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, the Behavioral or Social Sciences, or related field
- 2 years professional level experience in Public Relations or Affairs, or 5 years directly related experience with 2 years at the professional level
- Experience in writing, editing, and designing various communication materials
- Proficiency in using a variety of communication mediums and platforms
- Ability to simplify complex policy issues and technical information for different audiences

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using web builders/design platforms and creating website content
- Previous experience in public outreach and engagement processes
- Strong skills in event coordination and participation
- Knowledge of data visualization software and infographics
- Familiarity with social media, podcasts, and blogs
