What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop trainings, project updates, and presentations on CDC's NHSN work in antimicrobial use and resistance for clients
- Provide end-user education and technical support for data submission and analysis
- Collaborate with a team to plan, develop, and implement projects
- Maintain documentation of processes and procedures
- Analyze healthcare and public health data in SAS
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Public Health or other health science field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience
- Experience with public-health surveillance systems
- Proficiency in using SAS or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to various audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with antimicrobial use, resistance, and/or Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI)
- Familiarity with CDC's NHSN
- Knowledge of Clinical Document Architecture (CDA)
- Experience with R and/or Python
