What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect and report on Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) performance measures and grant activities
- Develop and implement targeted evaluation plans for the PHIG
- Support Maine CDC programs with data analysis, database queries, and data visualizations of performance measures
- Streamline and connect Maine CDC data sources for improved efficiency
- Assist in the development of program performance measures and document quality improvement efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Public/Community Health, Health Administration, Health Sciences, or a related field
- Three (3) years of professional experience in planning, development, coordination, and/or evaluation of health programs or services
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain thorough documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Proven team leadership and facilitation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing quantitative and qualitative data for program evaluation
- Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle, and visualization software like Tableau and/or Power BI
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Experience in developing and implementing evaluation plans for public health programs
- Proven ability to document processes and procedures thoroughly
