      Job summary

      The Public Health Programme Lead will be responsible for the development and management of programmes across the domains of public health. This will involve supporting Consultants in Public Health or Public Health Specialist to lead on key public health programmes and providing specialist public health input and advice internally within the council and externally with partners as part of the Core Offer. The role will lead on the commissioning and redesign of key public health services for relevant topic areas working with partners to drive improvements in population health and reduce inequalities across the life course. The role will also work internally across the council to influence the wider determinants of health and ensure high quality public health input.
