What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the profile and image of the employer and its leadership
- Serve as a strategic communications advisor, tracking key issues and developing key messages
- Collaborate with marketing communications to create compelling narratives around business themes
- Manage media relations, including writing press releases and maintaining relationships with media outlets
- Analyze industry trends and develop media activity reports to track effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in PR and communications, particularly in financial services or insurance
- Bachelor's degree in PR, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong writing and copyediting skills with familiarity in AP style
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with social media platforms
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
