      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective communication strategies
      - Produce written and visual content across various platforms, including articles, newsletters, and social media
      - Research and interpret technical information to create engaging communication materials for diverse audiences
      - Plan and coordinate public affairs events and outreach campaigns
      - Manage multiple projects while ensuring timely production and adherence to Air Force Public Affairs standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's or higher degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a similar field
      - 5-10 years of communications/multimedia/public affairs experience, preferably with Department of Defense
      - Demonstrable portfolio showcasing successful work, including press releases and social media content
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with SmartsheetGov and SharePoint for managing project timelines
      - Basic photography and photo editing skills
      - AP Style proficiency for journalistic writing with strong editing abilities
      - Experience in planning public affairs events, especially virtual meetings
      - Understanding of environmental communications related to restoration and compliance
