- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but candidates with proven experience will not be excluded from consideration.
- A minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational/time management and project management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
- Detail oriented, flexible and creative.
- Ability to independently prioritize work and establish, understand and follow work rules andprocedures, and take action to improve existing processes.
- Ability to communicate clear instructions and performance expectations to vendors.
- Knowledge and application of English grammar including composition, editing and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of health care industry issues and Delta Dental products and policies.
- Functions as a purchase agent & contact for materials printed outside of the company; soliciting quotes for budgetary needs & for future printed materials, approving and coding invoices for print items needed outside company.
- Manages and coordinates print, fulfillment and mail projects with internal staff, clients and vendors, compiles data and materials for print and suggests cost saving ideas for printed materials.
- Has considerable contact with all levels of Delta Dental staff about project specifications, status, shipping status, tracers etc.
- Prepares & fills orders for all enrollee materials at an offsite fulfillment house.
- Reviews stored inventory & notifies owners to restock or dump items.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
This position is responsible for developing project specifications, bidding out jobs, evaluating bids from outside vendors and awarding jobs to most qualified/appropriate vendors. Additional responsibilities include selecting appropriate off-site storage/shipping vendors, manages relationships and inventory for other enterprise departments.

The national base pay range is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $46,359 - $93,100
