      YOUR OPPORTUNITY

      We have an exciting Purchasing Coordinator opportunity in our Guymon, OK, processing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various functions within the purchasing department, including data entry, coordinating purchasing processes for stock and non-stock items, invoice resolution, and analyzing inventory levels. You must also be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with vendors, management, and operations.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Create & issue purchase orders in a timely fashion to ensure proper coding for AP processing
      • Analyze inventory levels & transactions of items purchased to ensure reorder points are appropriate and order quantities are correct.
      • Collaborate and assist warehouse, parts room & PPE departments with order picking, material handling, inventory reconciliation, and scheduled cycle counts
      • Run routine reports to ensure PO’s, Receipts, and GRNI statues are accurate
      • Maintain required documentation for food safety compliance
      • Maintain system data integrity, and ensure entries follow defined nomenclature to support competitive sourcing events
      • Communicates effectively and collaborates with department leadership and vendors to ensure the position provides a high level of customer service and accountability
      • Perform other related duties as assigned.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Associate’s degree preferred or two years of procurement experience, including mathematics and ability to interpret varying units of measure.
      • Work experience in purchasing, materials management or other related field in a high volume, fast-paced work environment is preferred.
      • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills, or similar applications, and ERP system experience preferred.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English required, bi-lingual a plus .

      WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions. Consistently working in an environment ranging from +35 to -20 degrees. The noise level in the work environment is usually at a level that requires the OSHA required hearing protection.
