      Inviting applications for the role of Purchasing & Material Scheduling Process Lead – Senior Manager – English – Remote Poland

      In this role, Purchasing leader will p lan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Co-ordinate and work closely with internal and external parties to ensure supply of materials is in place to satisfy production requirements. To ensure that strategic material planning processes are in place to enable operational and production continuity.

      Responsibilities

      • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Materials Planning vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance

      • Material Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage schedules for material procurement and production to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels

      • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

      • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and ensure materials are available as needed to avoid production delays.

      • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

      • Coordination with Departments: Work closely with production, procurement, and other departments to align material scheduling with production needs

      • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation

      • Budget Management: Manage budgets related to material procurement and scheduling, and forecast future needs .

      • To be part of Global update calls.

      • Travel to various business units to assess and develop material planning processes.

      Qualifications we seek in you!

      Minimum Q ualifications / Skills

      • Relevant years of proven e xperience in material planning, procurement, and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment

      • Bachelor’s / masters degree in supply chain management , Business Administration, or a related field .

      • CPIM / CSCP certification would be preferable

      • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and other relevant software

      • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address scheduling conflicts and optimize processes

      • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal teams

      • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
