What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, coordinate, and implement purchasing for hotels according to specifications and deadlines
- Oversee the procurement and installation phases of food preparation and owner-supplied equipment
- Organize project data, schedules, and responsibilities to ensure efficiency
- Monitor vendor and consultant performance, logistics, and quality control
- Communicate necessary information to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and issue resolution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, with possible certificates in related disciplines
- Proven record of success in delivering on-time, on-budget projects involving multiple vendors, consultants, and contractors
- Proficiency in procurement, project budgeting/cost management, and web-based project management collaboration tools
- Proficiency in Excel and PDF markup tools (e.g., Adobe, Bluebeam)
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the hotel or lodging industry
- Familiarity with project management software
- Background in vendor management and negotiation
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
