What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Purchase vehicles from online auction platforms and local in-person auctions
- Utilize public listing sites to identify cars that meet company needs
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to acquire inventory
- Conduct market valuation, negotiate prices, and arrange transportation with sellers
- Assist with remarketing wholesale inventory and maintain accurate inventory counts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform well under pressure
- Personable and adaptable with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of reconditioning costs and vehicle makes and models
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Previous auction experience preferred, along with a background in sales and purchasing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a purchasing or procurement role
- Passion for vehicles and automotive sales
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
