What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Optimize and continuously improve the software development process
- Develop new applications and enhance existing ones as part of an analytics program
- Evaluate and improve existing systems and their documentation
- Experiment with and implement new technologies and techniques in the cloud
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code in Python
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or related
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or related
- One (1) year of experience with Object Oriented Programming in Python and JavaScript
- Experience with scalable data application design and containerization including Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in AWS Cloud Compute, databases including PostgreSQL and MSSQL, and microservice architecture
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with integration into CICD pipelines and testing frameworks including PyTest
- Familiarity with data libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn
- Knowledge of Rest APIs
