QA Engineer - JAVA, Selenium, REST, SOAP,TestNG, API Testing

We are looking for a Software Engineer - QA with a desire to work on the Quality and Development of products.

You will design and implement automation toolsets, automation plans and test cases for Informatica Application Integration products and solutions. You shall develop a REST-based automation framework, conducting functional and concurrency tests with efficient usage of automation tools and API testing. You will work with Program Managers, Product Architects, Product Managers, Dev and QA engineers on a daily basis in designing and building Automation testing components and in testing the product features.

You will be based in our office in Hyderabad, India

You will report to the Manager, Development

You will responsible for quality of product features for API Management and Governance products under IPaaS team.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• You will be based in Hyderabad, INDIA and will be responsible for:
• Review requirements, design documents to create test scenarios and test cases
• Develop automation tools that will be used to automate testing for our product
• Automate backend and UI test cases and improve automation coverage and code coverage
• Contribute to the team programs in improving testing processes
• Implement test cases following the test plan and provide status report on execution progress
• Isolate and report bugs and track them to closure

What We'd Like to See

• Knowledge of Microservice-based Architecture.
• knowledge of CI/CD tools implementation and practices.
• Hands-on Cloud providers platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI
• Hands-on experience on writing Automation using Selenium

Role Essentials

• B.Tech or M.Tech in computer science or related field
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java/Python.
• Hands-on experience building REST-assured or Karate Framework.
• Hands-on experience in Selenium and expertise in developing UI Frameworks using Selenium/Java.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Hands-on experience working with Dockers/Containers/Kubernetes/Spinnaker/Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience writing SQL for relational databases (Like MySQL, and Oracle).
• Experience with technologies like Tomcat, Ant/Maven/Gradle.
• Exposure to Log Management and creating dashboards in any one of the tools like ELK or Grafana cloud.
• Pick up new ideas and approaches quickly; enjoy brainstorming on design and loves problem solving with a focus on teamwork
• Prior exposure to performance testing and security testing is a plus
• Prior knowledage on Informatica IPaaS tools is a plus
