What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the Development Team to understand requirements, scope, and objectives for new or modified functionalities
- Develop, execute, and coordinate Integration and System Test Plans, including both manual and automated testing
- Create or modify test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications
- Execute test scripts to ensure compliance with specified quality characteristics and document results in a bug-tracking system
- Debug and re-test all components of the system, reporting and documenting outcomes and test conditions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software testing (manual and some automated) or user acceptance testing
- Associates degree in Information Systems or Computer Science required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and knowledge of testing processes and methodologies
- Good communication skills on both technical and business levels, with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Agile software development methodology
- Familiarity with front and back-end testing using SQL database tools (Oracle)
- Exposure to automation and ability to execute using automated tools
- Business and system domain knowledge
