Qualifications

• Automation Test Script Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to test web-based applications.
• Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases, prepare test plans, and implement automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Framework Development: Develop and enhance reusable automation frameworks, libraries, and tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Continuous Integration (CI): Integrate test scripts into the CI/CD pipeline for automated test execution and reporting.
• Bug Reporting and Tracking: Identify, document, and report issues/bugs found during automation testing, and work with developers to resolve them.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other collaborators to ensure test coverage and accurate defect reporting.
• Test Data Management: Build and manage test data for automated tests, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Maintain detailed documentation on automation test scripts, procedures, and results for future reference.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Selenium, WebDriver with Java
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Experience with version control systems Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Proficiency in web automation and browser compatibility testing.
• Tools & Technologies:
• Experience with Jenkins, Maven, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing solutions (e.g., Sauce Labs, Browser-Stack) is a plus

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 3/03/25

The annual salary for this position is between $ 71,100/- to $ 112,500/- depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
