What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead complex investigations and non-conformances in the QC laboratory
- Act as a primary technical resource for lab investigations
- Provide scientific recommendations for CAPA and effectiveness reviews
- Assist with implementing new technological innovations in laboratory automation systems
- Maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork and respect in the workplace
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical cGMP laboratory work with a BS; 5+ years with a Masters; 2+ years with a PhD
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and data integrity principles
- Proficiency in Quality Control laboratory procedures and testing techniques
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in authoring technical reports
- Knowledge of USP and other compendial methods
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
