- Provide project management support to global customers relating to software deliverables, engineering resources, schedules, contracts, and process artifacts.
- Supervise weekly or bi-weekly customer meetings and track progress.
- Review project details with stakeholders such as sales, engineering, finance, product management, and quality management.
- Track software requirements and defects, test reports, documentation, process artifacts and budget during product releases.
- Identify and mitigate risk factors to drive successful completion of customer projects and suggest process improvements.
- Acquire general familiarity with QNX Sound, recognizing opportunities for application of our technology into customer programs, and communicating benefits at a high-level.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in technical program/project management, ideally in the embedded, audio, or automotive industry.
- Experience with software development, either as project manager or developer.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Problem solving, integrity, and professionalism during customer interactions.
- A strong interest in or experience working with audio and/or speech processing.
- Experience managing commercial programs within the automotive industry.
- Experience with C, C++ programming, and/or UNIX-based operating systems such as QNX or Linux.
- Experiencing measuring compliance of software development processes with quality-related standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 26262.
- Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira), source control (e.g., Git) and collaborative workspaces (e.g., Confluence).

QNX® is a trusted supplier of safe and secure operating systems, hypervisors, frameworks, and development tools, and provides expert support and services for building the world’s most critical embedded systems. We also provide a software-defined audio solution, called QNX Sound, which is modernizing the way in which automotive audio systems are architected and developed. Components within QNX Sound include speech enhancement for hands-free calling, active sound design, playback optimization, and processing libraries from other well-known automotive companies that we partner with.
The Acoustics team is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager with experience in software development for a full-time role. The successful candidate will coordinate complex projects involving speech and audio technologies, both customer-facing and internal product development. You will need to effectively communicate with and support our global customers, and interact with cross-functional teams, track requirements, timelines and follow software development processes.
