  The SKF Business Unit MPT (Maintenance Products, Power Transmission and Lubrication Tools) is responsible to develop, manage and promote a unique portfolio of products and solutions to support the bearing life cycle (from mounting, through lubrication, alignment, basic condition monitoring, to dismounting), in order to enhance the rotating equipment performance at the customers, leveraging as complementary offer to SKF bearings.

  MPT Business Unit consists in a small team of 50 people worldwide with entrepreneurial mind-set, main location being in Houten, in the Netherlands.

  Quality & Sustainability Engineer

  Job description
  • Implement the Zero defect program in the full value chain.
  • Manage the customer complaints focusing on customer needs.
  • Develop suppliers on Quality and Sustainability.
  • Support the product compliance (environmental and technical compliance).
  • Support sustainability activities (CO2 reduction, circularity, …).
  • Work globally, with multiple stakeholders across the regions.

  
  Job requirements
  • Have experience in Quality and Risk management.
  • Given the nature of our products and business, an industrial background or knowledge is desirable.
  • Certified or trained in Problem Solving (Green Belt).
  • Develop expertise in Product Compliance.
  • In this global position, with multiple interactions around the world, solid communication skills in English are needed.

  n this role, you will be supporting the execution of the SKF Quality and Sustainability program, having full support from the MPT Management team.

  This position will be located in Houten, the Netherlands.
