  We are looking to recruit highly motivated and dedicated members to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of Quality in our products and services at Ardagh Metal Packaging’s Deeside End manufacturing facility.

  This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to learn on the job and gain nationally recognised qualifications in Quality Assurance. You will work as part of a shift-based team with the aim of supporting the manufacturing process to help achieve all our plants major KPI’s.

  Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with Quality control processes and ensuring product standards are met.
  • Ensuring all Quality Assurance checks are completed and followed up.
  • Supporting the site to be Audit ready at all times.
  • Working to Company/Plant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross functional reams to improve Quality across the business.

  What we are looking for:

  • Ability to demonstrate safe working practices
  • Strong computer skills as the role requires ability to input data across several different computer systems, create reports and export and communicate data.
  • Able to work well and effectively in a team.
  • A strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to the success of the company.
  • A proactive approach to learning and personal development
  • Good communicator to all levels.

  Education :

  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English at grade C or above.
  • A levels
  • Languages – Fluent in written and spoken English

  Working Pattern:

  4 x 12hour shifts. 2 days 2 nights / 4 off. Fixed rota with 5 fixed 18 day holiday breaks per annum.

  Salary:

  Yr 1 £28,000

  Yr 2 £32,000

  Yr 3 £36,000
