Quality Assurance Manager, Precision Sports & Technology

- Create & oversee hardware, software & supplier product testing methods & processes to ensure that all supported production products and incoming purchased items meet or exceed all quality expectations.
- Establish quality and reliability standards for newly designed products by studying consumer requirements with other members of management and with engineers & production personnel.
- Manage the teams with emphasis on documentation & training the personnel for correct product inspections.
- Analyze, summarize, and report high frequency issues reported by tech support or consumer feedback to engineering leadership and ensure issues are properly prioritized in the engineering backlog.
- Act as liaison between Engineering and Technical Support teams, ensuring issues are distributed to specific engineering teams.
- Act as a next escalation level for technical support, diving deep into diagnosing hard software or hardware problems.
- Maintain & communicates quality issues & KPI's for warranty/RMA repair return rates and customer technical support tickets.
- Maintain controls over distinct types of WIP device inventories during inspection with proper and good ESD controls.
- Coordinate with all departments the business/quality management system standard operating processes (SOPs) and quality forms & data.
- Train and mentor the quality team in failure and root cause analysis to communicate & assist with corrective actions for product improvements.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing the QA budget, scheduling & approving expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Continue to build knowledge of the organization, products, processes, and customers.
- Receive a minimal level of guidance and direction; Provide high level of guidance & direction to team.
- Establish and adhere to best practices in quality assurance while overseeing the daily functions and budgets of the team.
- Develop and manage testing methodologies and provide personnel training.
- Conduct thorough testing or inspection of products to ensure high quality.
- Manage department personnel with proper work instructions, documentation planning, process verification, training, mentorship, system reviews, and continuous improvement through root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Tech Support to deliver quality data regarding customer issues.
- Participate in and respond to actions from MRB (Material Review Board) and ECO/CCB meetings.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Must have 10+ years of related quality assurance or business management experience and/or training.
- Computer and software experience including ERP and MS Office programs; FSS product and/or golf knowledge & experience preferred.
- Must adhere to all Foresight Sports safety policies.

Quality Assurance Manager, Precision Sports & Technology
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Precision Sports & Technology team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and periodically evaluating all hardware, software, and supplier quality teams to guarantee that the products sold and supported by our organization meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards established by Precision Sports & Technology.
This position reports to the Co-President and is based out of our San Diego, CA office.

Pay Range
$88,800.00 - $139,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
