      Job Description

      Due to continued growth our Mansfield site are now recruiting for a Quality Coordinator on a full time permanent basis.

      Salary: £12.25 per hour.

      Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.

      The purpose of the QC Coordinator is to ensure the timely process of sampling raw materials, complete quality checks whilst ensuring the customer requirements for certification and documents are current and uploaded onto the SAP system.

      Key Duties of a Quality Coordinator:

      • Key support role to the Management team helping to ensure company and customer deadlines are met.
      • Control and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring all deliveries are accurately booked onto the relevant system.
      • Ensure both the Great Bear Chess WMS and Kerry SAP are aligned.
      • Manage stock discrepancies.
      • Record and report non-conformances for all deliveries.
      • Liaise with internal and external contacts and customers as and when required in a polite manner working closely with the requests from the Customer QC departments.
      • Ensure paperwork for incoming deliveries such as packing lists and Certificates of Conformity are relevant and passed to Warehouse.
      • Carry out administration tasks as required by management in line with the normal day to day running of a busy distribution environment.
      • Produce reports as required.
      • Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing stock investigations, damage control and samples.

      Qualifications

      • Competent in verbal and numerical reasoning.
      • Attention to detail / accurate.
      • Ability to work under pressure using your own initiative.
      • PC Literate (Excel and Word or Equivalent).
      • Ideally have working knowledge of a Warehouse Management Systems.
      • Effective Communicator who continuously demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
