  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Develop and communicate systematic equity signals derived from alternative datasets through research notes
  - Conduct occasional travel for conferences and client meetings (approximately 5-6 times a year)
  - Research datasets and backtest factors, signals, and systematic strategies
  - Collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to scale research into quant products
  - Contribute to team strategy and process development for the quant business line
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - 4-5+ years of relevant experience in medium-frequency quantitative equity research, or 6-8 years with a Master’s in a relevant field
  - PhD in a quantitative field such as Finance, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science is preferred
  - Extensive systematic research experience in U.S. equities, including factor construction and signal research
  - Strong Python skills with reproducible research practices on large datasets
  - Good grasp of statistics, econometrics, and financial time series modeling
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Proven track record of generating data-driven buy-side-focused research material
  - Ability to effectively explain research to investment audiences
  - Experience translating fundamentals and estimates into systematic features and backtesting those
  - Familiarity with time-based out-of-sample validation and basic turnover assumptions
